It has been my privilege to serve this congregation since 2011. In that time frame my wife, Cathy, and I have experienced those significant, good life changes. Both our adult children have graduated college, found jobs, and gotten married; one has given us our first grandchild, the other our first “granddog.” Ministry opportunities here at the church keep us active. But, when we can, we love to get away to visit the kids, or enjoy outdoor activities, such as hiking, kayaking, or boating. What a joy it has been to call Henderson, and First United Methodist Church, our home.
